Additional Buyer's Stamp Duty and Buyer's Stamp Duty ABSD / BSD
Liable buyers are required to pay ABSD on top of the existing Buyer’s Stamp Duty (BSD). ABSD and BSD are computed on the purchase price as stated in the dutiable document or the market value of the property (whichever is the higher amount).
SSD is payable on all residential properties and residential lands that are acquired on or after 20 Feb 2010 and disposed of within the holding period.

Total Debt Servicing Ratio and Mortgage Servicing Ratio (TDSR / MSR)
Total debt servicing ratio (TDSR) refers to the portion of a borrower’s gross monthly income that goes towards repaying the monthly debt obligations, including the loan being applied for. A borrower's TDSR should be less than or equal to 60%.
Mortgage servicing ratio (MSR) refers to the portion of a borrower’s gross monthly income that goes towards repaying all property loans, including the loan being applied for. MSR is capped at 30% of a borrower's gross monthly income. It applies only to housing loans for the purchase of an HDB flat or an executive condominium bought directly from a developer.
